Lisa believes strongly in giving back to the community and helping those in need, so she dedicates some of her time to help those animals in need by visiting animal shelters and offering her grooming services for free to the animals in need of love and attention. Currently Lisa grooms some of the difficult dogs at the rescue and has created a bond with them. Animals In Need is run entirely by volunteers and relies on donations to continue to do their good work. Take a look at their website: www.animals-in-need.org.
The rabbit below was left outside a house who does Rabbit Rescue. I was called in to help and remove the matting. I had never seen anything like it before, it was the worst case I had ever seen! Needless to say this Rabbit is now living with us and is called Herb, he has the run of the animal room in our house and is very happy indeed!
In 2012 Lisa successfully walked across hot coals barefoot to raise money for Animals In Need. In total the event raised over £12,000, 100 people took part in the event, it was an amazing evening. In April 2013 Lisa walked on Broken Glass for Animals in Need! In May 2016 Lisa Cycled 150 miles to Great Yarmouth to raise money for the new cattery.
